Prices of ten PSX shares, read two ways
Two tables, built from the same ten readings: the first orders the companies by where the close sits in the 52-week range, the second by the day's change. The session is 6 November 2026, read 6 November 2026.

What the columns say
Close is the last price of the session of 6 November 2026. The 52-week low and high are the lowest and highest prices of the last 52 weeks as the source prints them, and the last column puts the close between them on a scale where the low is 0 and the high is 100. None of the 10 closes is in the lowest or the highest quarter of its own 52-week range: the lowest place is PPL at 34.4 of 100 and the highest MEBL at 71.9.
The place is a location, not a forecast: it says where today's close sits among the prices of the past year and nothing about where the price goes next.

The day, in one line
On 6 November 2026, all 10 companies closed lower than the previous close; the smallest fall was FFC (−0.55%) and the largest LUCK (−1.70%). The changes run from −1.70% (LUCK) to −0.55% (FFC).
The change is the close divided by the previous close, minus one. It describes one session only; the next table in your broker's app will already differ.
Why XD names show a different change in two sources
On the PSX page 5 of the 10 companies (MEBL, FFC, PPL, MCB, HBL) carry the XD marker, which PSX puts in front of a company while its shares trade without the right to the dividend that has been declared. On such a day PSX adjusts the previous close it prints (the LDCP, last-day close price), so its change is measured from the adjusted figure, which is what an XD adjustment does. For 1 of them the second source, which compares with the raw previous close, shows a different change: FFC (−0.55% on PSX, −3.70% against the raw previous close). For the other XD names the two agree on this reading. This site prints PSX's own LDCP and says so.
For a company without the XD marker the two sources agree to the second decimal, which is how the feed is checked before it is written.

Questions before a first share
Is the close the price I would pay?
No. It is the last price of the session of 6 November 2026. The price at the moment of an order is set by the orders in the market at that moment; use the close to estimate a budget and look at your broker's screen before sending the order.
What does place in the range mean?
It is (close − low) ÷ (high − low) times 100, where low and high are the 52-week extremes the source prints. 0 means the close equals the low and 100 that it equals the high.
Why these ten companies?
They are ten of the largest companies listed on PSX by market value on the 6 November 2026 reading, chosen so that the page is a worked example with real numbers. They are not a recommendation.
